Texas OL headed to MWC
Klein (Texas) Collins offensive lineman David Brown became the fourth Tiger to verbally commit to a Division I program since the summer.
Brown (6-3, 265-pounds) joins Michael Goodson (Oklahoma State), Matt Allen (LSU) and Franklin Mitchem (Texas Tech) as the Tiger commits. Brown will be heading west to play for the New Mexico Lobos.

Brown was a first-team, all-district selection as a junior and was receiving interest from Air Force and Navy.
"I visited about a month ago and it was a nice school," Brown said. "It's a good size for me and the weather was great. I like the offensive line coach, who is a no-nonsense, get-the-job-done guy. The facilities were great and it is exactly what I'm looking for in a school."
Brown will take visits to the Naval Academy and Air Force.
"Those are both great schools," he said. "They have so much national pride there and it's my duty to check them out."
