Texas OL getting Big 12, SEC interest

Bay City, Texas offensive guard Mitch Kimberling has been getting out and about early on in his recruiting process.
The 6-foot-3, 275-pounder, originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, moved to Texas when he was five years old. Now, in the Lone Star State, he's beginning to see his college recruiting process take flight. No scholarship offers have come, but he's certainly getting plenty of interest.

"I get letters, but the offers haven't come just yet," Kimberling said. "I get text messages quite a bit. The teams that send the most are Ole Miss and Texas A&M."
Kimberling says growing up in Nebraska, the Huskers are the favorite. However, he's not getting any mail from the Big 12 North school yet.
"I'm thinking about getting to Texas A&M coming up," Kimberling said. "That's the only one I know about."
Kimberling was also at Rivals.com Junior Day in Houston last weekend. He says there was plenty he learned.
"I just wanted to go so it would help me out," he said. "I wanted to learn what the recruiting process was all about."
