Texas OL feeling recruiting attention pick up

Fort Worth (Texas) Christian offensive lineman Rendal Bailey is starting to get more attention from schools.
"There are more schools talking to me it seems like," the 6-foot-4, 295-pound Bailey said. "I had two coaches from K-State stop by last week at the school. SMU, TCU, Colorado State, Baylor and LSU are all interested too."

LSU recently jumped into the mix.
"LSU called for film and they are looking at it. They might offer if they like what they see on the tape."
LSU has one card in their pocket that no other school has right now.
"My teammate, Cody Freeby, is committed to LSU to punt for them. I wouldn't mind playing with him still. It wouldn't be the only reason to pick the school, though."
Bailey has some interest in staying near home for college.
"I would like to stay near home, but some of the schools play some games in Texas each year. That would help out with not being here."
Bailey, who's team has qualified for the playoffs already, is still awaiting his first scholarship offer.
