Corsicana, Texas offensive guard Courtney Green has had plenty of phone calls in the last 24 hours since the May contact period began on Monday. The 6-foot-4, 285-pounder definitely has interest coming from all directions.
Scholarship offers in hand include Baylor, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, and TCU. Two of those teams sit at the top but another offer could be coming for Green and shake up the race.
"I think LSU is getting ready to offer me," Green said. "Last Thursday, there were coaches at our prospect left and right. My coach said that LSU was talking about me a lot to him and I think they're really interested. Oklahoma State came out too. We had like 12 coaches out there watching us."
The favorites remain the same with the Cowboys and Bears leading the way.
"I still have got OSU and Baylor at the top," Green said. "OSU, you know, I talk to the coach all the time and he tells me what they're up to there. Baylor is close to home and it's not going to be too far for me to go to school. Maybe when I start talking to more coaches, I'll consider some others.
"Right now, those are my main ones."
Colorado State, Oklahoma State, and Texas A&M have been the schools which have made phone calls either to the school or to his house in the last day or so.
