Josh LeRibeus's mother has trouble keeping up with all of the mail.
It's not surprising considering the family is getting double-digit amounts of letters by the day and the 6-foot-3, 321-pound offensive guard is quickly becoming one of the more sought-after players in the Lone Star state. Two more scholarship offers have come in to go along with previous ones from Baylor, Boston College, and Houston.
"Yeah, two came in from SMU and Stanford," LeRibeus said. "Stanford kind of came out of nowhere but they probably stand out the most. It's just the prestige of their school. On the other hand, I like SMU a lot because that school is about as close as it can get."
Boston College, since offering, is one school that both LeRibeus and his mother agree are sending the most mail. Countless amounts of mail have come from them along with a pair of Florida schools.
"Miami and Florida just always send stuff saying they would love to meet me and to see me come out to visit," he said.
Visits are also something that LeRibeus is becoming familiar with. He's taking in the close visits first and then planning ahead for the distant schools.
Last weekend, he made a stop in Waco, Texas to check out Baylor.
"It was great," he said about the trip. "I met Guy Morriss and everybody was really nice there. We sat and talked about the kind of education that they would offer me and how it's close to home. Plus, they talked about being in the Big 12 conference."
Next up is a trip to SMU this weekend for a spring game.
"That was one I was hoping for, so I'm excited about the trip," he said. "I know of this trip but not much else. I'm going to try to go to a few camps. I'd like to have my decision by early football season or right before."
