Texas LB still thinking about commitment

Things are not completely finished in the recruitment of Alief (Texas) Taylor linebacker Cheta Ozougwu. The talented Texan committed to Tulane early and after an unofficial visit, has a plan to get things squared away on his decision.
After giving Tulane a soft verbal, he took a visit to check out the school and talk with the coaches. Ozougwu said that he didn't know the difference between a soft or solid commitment until the visit, but now knows he has a decision to make.

"I visited Tulane and it was cool there," Ozougwu said. "I didn't know the difference between being soft and solid. I'm still kind of looking and they wanted me to make it solid."
Ozougwu, who says he's still looking a bit, is hearing from TCU, Houston, Texas Tech, and UCLA still.
"When the first games finish up, I'll send some tapes out to see if anything else happens," Ozougwu said. "I really want to have a solid commitment made somewhat early in the season. If I can't do that, I'll take some official visits and go from there."
As for his team, Ozougwu says that his team isn't being given a lot of credit.
"People are saying that Taylor doesn't have any athletes, so we've got a lot to prove," he said. "I've got a lot to prove myself. Everybody wants to see how I do as a senior."
