Texas LB still high on Jackets

Dallas (Texas) Lincoln linebacker Antonio Jones has had to continue to leave recruiting on the back burner as he and his teammates continue to win and advance in the Texas state playoffs.
"Everything is going alright," the 6-foot-2, 200-pound Jones said. "I've lined up two official visits and would have had a third, but we play this weekend. I am visiting Tulsa the first weekend of January and I scheduled a trip to Georgia Tech two weeks later.

"I am talking to Kansas, too. They have two linebackers committed and one guy from Florida coming in this weekend. Kansas has offered, but I can't take any visits before the season is over and we're playing for the title this weekend. I was going to go up this weekend, but I won't be able to make it."
Despite the three visits on the calendar, two of the schools are fighting an uphill battle.
"Georgia Tech is still my favorite and I consider myself still committed there right now. I'm just looking around some. I'm interested in the others, too, and that is why I want to take the visits."
