Texas LB recovering well

Bellville, Texas linebacker Garrett Dornon began his injury rehab before the season was two weeks old.
"Garrett is doing well in his rehab," Nancy Dornon, the mother of the 6-foot-2, 220-pounder said. "His physician is impressed with the progress in rehab. He is about five weeks ahead of schedule on his knee."

Dornon's quicker than expected rehabilitation could even land him on the field again this season.
"There has been discussion about him playing Dec. 6. He is 11 weeks post-op, which is unheard of, usually it is 16 weeks before release."
Dornon's goal has been to receive a Division-I scholarship offer and the thought has kept him working hard in the rehab room.
"Rice, TCU, Texas A&M and Louisiana Tech are all schools still in the mix. K-State was, but they told Garrett they would like him to walk on."
