Texas LB makes visit, decision
It was a successful official visit weekend for SMU this past weekend grabbing four total commitments. One of those came from Euless (Texas) Trinity linebacker Youri Yenga.
The 6-foot-1, 212-pounder made his way to SMU for an official visit this past weekend and the academic opportunities wasn't something he could pass up.

"I committed to SMU on my visit," Yenga said. "It was really about education. They've got a great academic program there. I want to major in engineering there. I checked that out and everything."
Yenga says that his recruiting coach, Joe Sawyer, also was a big reason for his decision. The biggest reason that Yenga connected with Sawyer was because of trust.
"He's a real cool guy and he was just up front with me from the beginning," Yenga said.
Yenga says that he's not considering taking any other visits. He also held offers from UTEP and North Texas.
