Texas LB makes unofficial trip

Arlington (Texas) Lamar linebacker Sean Lowe made an unofficial trip this weekend to Stillwater, Okla. for the Cowboys' game against Colorado.
"I had a great time on the visit," Lowe said. "It was a nice campus. I really enjoyed the town too."

Lowe was impressed by Coach Les Miles too. "Coach Miles really knows what he's doing. I think he's got things going in the right direction there."
Lowe's calendar is only going to get busier. "I'm going to go see Clemson and Georgia Tech next weekend (Nov. 2). Both of those will be unofficial trips. Then after that I'll go to Stanford on the next weekend."
Lowe's official visit schedule only has one reservation made. "I'm planning to go to Oklahoma State on Dec. 7 for my official trip."
While Lowe has no offers yet, he said that doesn't surprise him. "I'm at a new school this year. Last year I was at Irving (Texas) High. Some of the coaches are just now figuring out where I am."
Lowe also said Kansas State was a school high on his list. "I would say Oklahoma State is right at the top of the list. Kansas State has been in touch with me a lot. I want to see more of what they have."
