Texas LB makes it five

Another offer is out in the open for Sweeny (Texas) linebacker Wendel Davis bringing his ever-growing list to five schools.
While working out with his high school team takes up the majority of his time, the 6-foot-1, 197-pound prospect takes time to open up the mail when it comes from colleges. The latest letter was from UTEP which included an offer.

"It was just about two weeks ago," Davis said about his latest scholarship. "I can't say I have a favorite right now, but I'm really waiting to see what Texas does. They said they're coming to check out a game and I guess it will depend on that."
Arizona State and Oklahoma State also seem to be two teams that Davis is heavily eyeing. After taking in Oklahoma State, Texas, and Texas A&M camps, the No. 72 prospect in the state of Texas feels he showed his stuff.
"I performed well at the Texas camp for sure," Davis said. "I'm don't with visits for a while until officials. Arizona will be one of the schools I see during an off week come season time."
Whichever school that Davis commits to will have to feel very comfortable to him - no matter where it's located on the map.
"I don't really care where it is and when I say location, I just want to like the location," he said. "It doesn't have to be close or far or whatever. It's basically about my feeling on the place. When I find it, I'll decide."
