Texas LB looking at in-state schools

Mesquite (Tex.) North linebacker Aaron Harris is ready to make an impression on the recruiters who have been calling him pitching their schools.
“I’m ready for my senior season to come and get started,” Harris said. “Practice will officially get rolling in a couple days and I am ready. I want to show the schools talking to me that I am the type of player they want on their team.”

Which schools is Harris hearing from the most? “Right now, I really like Texas and Texas A&M the most. They are staying in contact with me the most. I’m also keeping an eye on Florida, Florida State and Oklahoma.”
Harris, a 6-foot, 230-pounder, is a two-time district defensive player of the year wants a chance to play early in his career. “That is a thing I am going to really look for. I think I can play at that level, and I want to have the chance to do it my first year if that works out. I really want to find a place that I can step on the field and show my skills.”
