Texas LB lines up three visits

Galveston (Texas) Ball linebacker Roderick Johnson has scheduled three official visits.
“It has been a busy last couple months,” the 6-foot-2, 230-pound Johnson said. “I’ve lined up trips to Arizona (Dec. 5), Iowa State (Dec. 12) and LSU (Jan. 23). The visit to Iowa State is probably not going to happen. I’ve got the SAT to take that weekend, so I will have to find another date to go there. But, for now it is still set on that date.”

Johnson is receiving recruiting attention from those three schools in addition to Florida, Oklahoma State, Kansas and Arkansas.
“I enjoy talking to all of these schools when they call,” the three-star rated linebacker said. “We talk about everything when they call.”
Johnson has helped lead Ball into the postseason this fall.
“We play for the district championship Friday. But, we have already advanced.”
Johnson has put up good numbers this season.
“I’m doing great,” he said. “I’m having an outstanding season. I’m averaging over nine tackles per game. I’ve caused three fumbles and I’ve recovered two fumbles. We just need to keep our team efforts going.”
