Texas LB lets cat, err Tiger out of bag

Teneha, Texas, linebacker Darius Ingram has been committed for more than two weeks but wasn't ready to let the cat out of the bag until now.

"I'm ready to announce," Ingram, a three-star linebacker, said. "I've done a lot of thinking and it's right. I committed to LSU the day before Christmas, but I wasn't 100 percent ready to come out with it until tonight when I let you know."
But he is now, picking the Tigers over Arkansas and TCU.
"I just felt right at LSU," Ingram said. "It's the same defensive scheme, terminology and system that we run in high school and I won't have to go and learn a bunch of new stuff."
Plus, it's the SEC.
"Yeah, it sure is," Ingram said. "That was big, too. I told coach Doll and he was really excited. He had me call coach Saban and let him know that I'm coming.
"I'm committed to LSU."
