Texas LB Josh White decommits from Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State’s 2020 commitment list was shortened by one.

Josh White, the most recent addition to the Sooners’ recruiting class for next year, decommitted on Monday evening. The decision followed an unofficial visit to LSU over the weekend.

White is the No. 13-ranked inside linebacker and No. 51 overall prospect in Texas for 2020.

LSU and Missouri have both extended offers to the 3-star linebacker from outside of Houston in recent weeks.

Oklahoma State held its first junior day on Saturday, but LSU was able to get White on campus. The visit came two weeks after securing an offer from the Tigers.

While we’re 11 months out from the 2020 installment of the early signing period, LSU should be deemed the new team to beat for White.
