Texas LB is ACC bound

Dallas Lincoln outside linebacker Antonio Jones had several impressive scholarship offers to pick from. But in the end, he decided playing in the ACC was his best option.
“I committed to Georgia Tech,” Jones, who is 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, said. “I had offers from Vanderbilt, Tulsa and Baylor, but the more I thought about it the more that Georgia Tech made sense. It’s a good fit for me academically, and it’s a great conference to play in.”

Jones, who carries a 3.5 grade-point average and a 860 on the SAT, had a very impressive performance during the testing phase of the College Station NIKE Training Camp. He clocked in with a 4.59-second time in the 40-yard dash, 4.05-shuttle time and a 32-inch vertical leap.
As a junior, Jones had 65 tackles, 15 tackles for a loss and three sacks.
