Texas LB headed to Big 10

With the end of his senior year of high school just around the corner, Dallas (Texas) Adamson linebacker Roderick Goodlow was in the process of taking his final official visits before making a decision. With one visit left on the calendar, the process has come to a close.
"I committed to Northwestern after my visit," the 6-foot-2, 202-pound Goodlow said. "The way the program is going and the way the players are just made me want to be part of the team.

"The coaches were talking to me about their plans for the program and I was looking at the players and what is going to come in the next few years. I felt comfortable at the school and I know Northwestern is going to be a good place for me to be and play football."
The news of the decision for the No. 34 ranked linebacker in the nation has not been spread too much.
"I haven't called the other schools, yet. I will do that, though. I am not going to be taking my final official visit that I had planned."
That trip was scheduled for Kansas for the upcoming weekend. The three-star rated prospect also had taken visits to Notre Dame and Wisconsin. He also held scholarship offers from Arkansas, Louisiana Tech, Tulsa, Nebraska, Colorado and Arizona.
