Texas LB getting close to a decision
Plano, Texas linebacker Kellen Tillman is nearing a decision for his college.
“I’m basically down to three teams,” Tillman said, “and those are LSU, Maryland and West Virginia.”

Maryland and West Virginia have offered him a scholarship.
“I have visited all three and really enjoyed each visit. They are pretty equal. I guess I did like LSU’s location and weather a bit better though.”
“I’m trying to find out this week, if LSU is planning on offering me. If they do, I will choose between these three teams. If not I will choose between Maryland and West Virgina."
Kellen’s dad did play at Texas Tech before enjoying a fine professional career. “I could have gone to Texas Tech, but I kind of wanted to do my own thing.”
Tillman’s team went 7-3 this season. He recorded about 85 tackles and had two interceptions.
