Texas LB doubles up

Two offers started the process, but now linebacker Wendel Davis offer list has doubled.
The No. 72 overall prospect in the state of Texas hailing from Sweeny (Texas) has added SMU and Tulsa to his total offers within the last month. Davis couldn't guess who might be next because those two shocked him a bit.
"I can't even say right now, those two really surprised me," Davis said. "Oklahoma State I've been hearing a lot from since they offered, but I don't even want to guess who else could offer."

His contact though has mainly been from his first two schools Arizona and Oklahoma State.
"There are lot of schools that send letters and stuff, but it's really those two that keep in steady touch with me," Davis said.
Davis spent time at three camps at Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, and Texas.
"Those went pretty good," Davis said. "Texas camp was my favorite because I really performed well at the camp. That's my favorite school and even though I don't think they're going to offer me, I learned a lot there. They just kept telling me how I'm going to be a good linebacker at the next level."
As for a decision, Davis is unsure.
"I don't know yet because I don't want to wait too long," he said. "At the same time I'm not ready now to make the call on where I want to go."
