Texas LB adds Pokes, Bucks to list

Galveston (Texas) Ball linebacker Roderick Johnson has altered his visit schedule a little bit.
“I’ve got five visits lined up,” the 6-foot-2, 230-pound Johnson said. “Things have changed a little bit too. My Arizona visit was set for December 5, but I’m going there on January 16. Oklahoma State wanted to schedule me for December 5 so it worked out well to switch Arizona’s date.”

One other new visit on the schedule is a Jan. 9 trip to Ohio State.
“They’ve been involved with me for about two months, now,” the three-star rated Johnson said. “They wanted me to visit, so I jumped right on it.”
The other two visits on Johnson’s calendar are Iowa State on Dec. 12 and LSU on Jan. 23.
“Those are my top five schools,” he said. “That has changed a little since earlier. But, I’m pretty sure those are the five. I don’t see anything else coming up and changing my mind.”
Johnson helped Ball to a 63-14 victory in the first round of the playoffs.
“We are having a real good season,” he said. “We just need to keep it up for a few more weeks. I’m having a great season, personally. I have a lot of tackles, five forced fumbles and five sacks.”
