Texas Kicker Visits The Midwest
Kicker and punter Dan Pelfrey from Orange (Texas) Little Cypres-Mauriceville made an unofficial visit to Ohio State over the weekend and attended the Ohio State-Northwestern game.
Pelfrey, 5-foot-11 and 175 pounds, attended Ohio State's football camp this summer. He has an uncle who lives in Columbus.

Pelfrey's second cousin is kicking guru Ray Pelfrey and another cousin is former NFL kicker Doug Pelfrey.
Dan Pelfrey has a long field goal this season of 39 yards. This season and last he has missed just one extra point. Pelfrey is interested in Ohio State, Texas A&M, and BYU, though none of the three have offered a scholarship.
