The 6-foot, 175-pound kicker's season will be ending this Friday, but he's got his sights set on a second official visit with a new offer in hand.
"Yeah, I got an offer from Nebraska last night," Kunalic said. "I was pretty excited. I wasn't really talking to them at all, but they saw me kick one game and they wanted some highlight tape. They said they wanted a kicker to come in for them next year.
"Then after they got my tape, they offered me last night over the phone. I was really excited."
Kunalic says that he's going to take an official trip to Nebraska on Nov. 24. His first official visit was to Washington State on Sept. 29.
"It was when Washington State played USC," Kunalic said. "I enjoyed it definitely. It was really good."
The one thing that may make a difference is location.
"My mom and my family wants me to go somewhere closer to home," Kunalic said. "I want to go up to Nebraska since it's close and see how it is. I was going to decide after the season, but since we're done after this Friday, I'll wait to visit Nebraska first."
Kunalic is rated as the No. 9 kicker in the country.
