Texas FB has one offer on table

Dallas Carter has been home to some of the state of Texas’ top prospects over the years and it looks like the Class of 2003 is no exception either. Recruiting fans meet fullback Adrin Griffin - a 5-foot-11, 230-pound bruiser back that has already racked up an offer from a Big 10 power.
Griffin lists Texas as his top team heading into the May evaluation period, but has an early offer on the table from Iowa. His other favorites are Texas A&M, Texas Tech, SMU and Baylor.

“I grew up watching Texas and I plan on camping at Texas,” Griffin said. “They’re my top team.”
Griffin said he’s not tied to any team, though, at this point in the process.
“I’m going to be looking for a school with good academics (maintains a 3.0 grade-point average), the ranking of my major at that school and the overall strength of the sports program,” Griffin said.
When asked to describe his play, Griffin said he’s a bruiser back that loves to run.
“I’m a very physical runner,” he said.
Griffin, who was on hand at this past weekend’s Metroplex Junior Day event at SMU, said the event helped him out a lot.
“I would like to thank Rivals,” he said. “I know now what to expect with the recruiting process.”
