Texas FB finding right spot

What position is it going to be for Channelview two-way starter Reggie La Mothe?
Is he going to be a fullback in college, or is he going to be a linebacker?

"If I had to pick, I'd probably go with fullback," La Mothe somewhat hesitantly said. "But in the end, I guess I really don't care. I just want to play. I'm one of those guys who just has to be making plays somehow."
La Mothe, who is 6-foot-1, 230 pounds, says most colleges are recruiting him as a fullback, but there are others who are still talking to him about playing linebacker.
The schools he is interested in are Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma, TCU and Nebraska. The Aggies are the leaders.
"They're my favorite," he said of A&M. "I like Coach (Buddy) Wyatt and the way he talks with me."
But La Mothe has yet to earn a scholarship offer from the Aggies or from the other schools.
However, that doesn't seem to deter him. He just believes he needs to continue to work hard and good things will come.
"I'm always working hard. I'm going to get where I need to be by working hard."
La Mothe's willing to play any position on the field and he's obviously a hard-worker. It sounds like whatever team picks him up will be getting a team player.
La Mothe carries a 2.7 core GPA and needs only 10 more points on his SAT to become a full academic qualifier. When he qualifies, it should be enough to at least draw a scholarship from one of his top teams.
