Texas duo picking up offers

The race just got even more interesting for Seguin, Texas safety/cornerback Desmond Jackson.
Jackson has been holding strong with two Big 12 scholarship offers from Oklahoma State and Nebraska, but another team has thrown their hat into the mix. Seguin coach Jim Carson says another top program is now involved since last week.

"Well, he's also got one in writing now from Oklahoma," Carson said about Jackson's latest offer. "That brings him to three now along with the others."
Defensive back is definitely a position that Jackson has seen a lot of time with. Carson explained that he has the ability to play either cornerback or safety. Offensive isn't out of the question either.
"This spring we worked him some at quarterback," Carson said. "As a senior, we'll play him on both sides of the ball. We can use him as a wide receiver or a running back."
The 6-foot, 180-pounder was an all-San Antonio selection after his junior season.
His teammate, linebacker Marcus Richardson, has been reported to have two scholarship offers from Oklahoma State and Nebraska. However, coach Carson says he's unsure of the offers but fully aware of the interest.
"Florida schools are really on him because he's originally from the state of Florida," Carson said. "I think deep down, going out to a school there, is what he really would like to do. He hasn't committed or anything yet. I'm not sure about the offers and what he does have."
