Texas DT trimming things down
Duncanville, Texas defensive tackle Xavier Lawson-Kennedy has elminated one school from consideration.
"I have visited two schools," the 6-foot-3, 305-pounder said. "One of them is out of the running. I will continue to do this until I'm done. Each time I visit one school, I'll decide between that school and the other one that I'm still looking at. Eventually I'll get down to one school."

So who is out?
"I'm not talking about that. I'm keeping it to myself as to who is not in the running anymore."
Still on Lawson-Kennedy's calendar are visits to Arkansas (Jan. 10), Oklahoma State (Jan. 17) and Florida (Jan. 24).
"Each of the schools still on my list has a lot of positives. We'll see how it works out."
