Texas DT surpasses double-digit offers

Many people thought that Texas commit Andre Jones was the only top defensive tackle in the city of El Paso, but at Chapin High School, Dominique Hamilton has collected a mountain of offers and for good reason.
The 6-foot-5, 280-pounder put on a show at the Palo Alto NIKE Training Camp and now he's got more offers than he knows what to do with. They include but are not limited to Colorado, Texas A&M, Missouri, Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, New Mexico State, UTEP, and others.

Hamilton also has a top six with one school alone in the top spot
"Well, I'd say right now, it's looking like Missouri, Colorado, Texas A&M, Arizona State, UTEP, and Arizona," Hamiltons said. "My No. 1 school would be Missouri. They're really the guys I'm focusing on because they were like my first offer and the first one to show me a lot of interest."
While the Tigers have been joined by many, Hamilton likes the love from the Big 12 North school. Another school rising on his list is the hometown UTEP Miners.
"I actually went there for a 7-on-7 camp and then ended up taking an unofficial visit there after that," Hamilton said. "I took a look around the campus and they just talked about how I could be a hometown hero there. I went to their camp as well. I'm liking them a lot more now."
Hamilton recently received yet another offer from Texas Tech. He also feels like Baylor may have offered but has yet to call them back to find out for sure.
As for other Big 12 programs, Hamilton is planning on taking a trip to Colorado at the end of June.
"My friend and I are going," he said. "It's actually supposed to be for their camp, but we're just looking for transportation right now."
Hamilton says he's unsure of when he'll make a decision.
"I'm having fun with this whole thing," he said. "I couldn't even tell you."
