Texas DT still waiting to decide

It's the waiting game for Houston (Texas) Cypress Falls defensive tackle Jerrod Black.
While his team is currently headed to the state semi-finals in the playoffs, he's waiting on a few options in his recruiting process. If things move quickly, a decision could be around the corner.

"Right now, I'm talking to Nebraska, and they're supposed to be offering soon from what I hear," Black said. "I may commit there or to Arizona. My coach also said that Notre Dame was also looking at me during one of our playoff games, so that could be a late option as well."
Black says that the Wildcats and Huskers have the edge because of their high quality football programs. He also says having a connection to Nebraska helps in putting them high.
"We already have a player that's up there (Terrence Nunn)," Black said. "So, I know Nebraska is familiar with my school."
Black's team defeated Katy this past weekend in what was described an upset.
"No one expected us to win, but we do what we have to do and we've gotten things done," Black said. "Things are going real well for us right now."
