Texas DT set to visit Jayhawks
Garland (Texas) Lakeview Centennial defensive tackle James McClinton has his first visit coming up next weekend. But he is getting close to adding a third visit to his schedule.
“Kansas is next weekend,” the 6-foot-1, 289-pound McClinton said. “That is my first one. I’m looking forward to it. It will be nice to go to one and then have something to compare to.”

McClinton also has a Dec. 5 trip to Houston scheduled and is getting close to setting a third visit.
“I’m thinking about visiting Iowa,” the three-star rated McClinton said. “We’ve talked about it some. But, no dates have been thrown out there, yet. They call me pretty regularly. I get about five to seven calls per week. It is always the same ones that have been calling.”
McClinton claims no favorite at this time.
“I don’t really have a favorite,” he said. “I don’t know much more than what the coaches have told me about some of these places. So, I am really looking forward to going and seeing some schools.”
Lakeview Centennial finished the year 5-5 and finished play two weeks ago.
