Three-star defensive tackle Demarcus Lattier pretty much knows where he's headed next fall.
The 6-foot-2, 285-pound South Garland prospect says that when he receives an in-home visit Thursday from an in-state school, he plans to give them his decision.
"I think I'm going to be a Cougar and go to Houston," Lattier said. "I haven't made that commitment yet, but coach Clay Jennings are coming to see me Thursday."

Lattier says that his high interest in Houston has a lot to do with how far from home the campus is.
"I had it between them and Indiana, but I when I went up to Indiana, this weekend, I saw how far from home it was," Lattier said. "Living in Garland, Houston is only like five hours from home. My mom would be comfortable with that and they had a guy at my spot who was a senior this past year.
"I'm planning on telling the coaches I'm coming when they come in tomorrow."
