Texas DT picking up steam

Offers are really rolling in now for Tatum (Texas) defensive tackle Isiah Thompson as the 6-foot-4, 315-pound defensive tackle has seen a constant surge in his recruitment since a strong NIKE Training Camp performance at TCU.
Now, Texas Tech and Stephen F. Austin have been joined by Houston and Louisiana Lafayette totaling his offer count at four. There has been one favorite throughout the process with the in-state Red Raiders and nothing has changed.
"I'd have to say Tech right now," Thompson said. "I mean it's just because there is a lot of opportunity for me there and I really like Lubbock. It's a good football team with great coaches and facilities. All of that stuff is really nice."
North Texas has been talking with Thompson about a visit for a game this fall, but Thompson has some other schools in mind as well.
"I'm going to try to see everybody I can," Thompson said. "I really want to go get out, even though it's a ways away, but to see Colorado State. I also want to hit up Kansas State and some of those schools. K-State has been recruiting me and I'm really looking at them after I started getting their handwritten letters."
When he will make a decision is anybody's guess.
"I don't' have a clue right now," Thompson said. "It's just hard to tell right now when that will all come."
