Texas DT makes college choice
Houston (Texas) Lamar defensive tackle Avery Williams narrowed his choices to two a week ago. After a week of thinking about both schools, he has made a decision.
"He was down to Utah and Tulane," Lamar coach Tom Nolen said. "Then early this week he decided Tulane was the place for him.

"He said he felt the most comfortable with everything there and was looking forward to being a part of Coach Scelfo's team."
The 6-foot-1, 285-pound Williams visited Tulane the weekend of January 16. He also visited Rice and Utah.
