Texas DT is a sleeper to watch

Coaches from Houston, Baylor, Louisiana-Lafayette and Toledo have spoken in September with Newton, Texas, defensive tackle Ken Scott.
Although Scott is not generally considered among the state's best linemen, Lafayette and Toledo have already offered scholarships to the linemen.

Scott has the looks of somebody who could eventually start receiving more and more calls from college coaches.
First of all, he's a returning all-district performer at both defensive tackle and at tight end. Second, he has great size - he's 6-foot-3, 285 pounds. And third, he's a hard-worker, boasting a bench press in excess of 350 pounds.
Look for more on Scott in the future. He's a player to keep an eye on as the season progresses.
