Texas DT getting two-way looks

Carthage, Texas defensive tackle prospect Allan Brown certainly has the size to be a dominant force on both sides of the ball in high school. That has presented more options at the college level as well.
The 6-foot-4, 314-pounder has been hearing from schools such as Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, LSU, and Houston. Though he prefers defense, a lot of schools like his size for offensive tackle.

"I prefer defense," Brown said. "I'm just quick off the ball. I play mostly offense in high school, but also some defense."
Brown earned honorable mention all-district honors as a junior. He says that he doesn't have any particular thing he's looking for in a school.
At the same time, one Big 12 school has jumped out on his early list.
"It's probably Oklahoma," Brown said about his favorite. "I just like them. We've been getting our mail late, so I haven't been able to make many junior days.
"Houston has invited me to one, so I might go visit there."
Brown says that he hasn't received his first scholarship offer, but the mail has been steady from all of the above mentioned schools and others.
He'd like to make a decision sooner rather than later.
"I want to do it before football season if I can," Brown said.
