Texas DL lands his first two offers.

Offer number one recently came in for Lancaster (Texas) High School defensive end Darius Lively and it didn't take long for offer number two to come in shortly thereafter. The first offer came about two weeks ago.
"I got it from Colorado State," Lively said. "I talked to them in school when they came to the school but I wasn't expecting them to offer me a scholarship. They saw me in practice and I make plays and it was because of my potential."

Though he doesn't know much about the program right now, Lively does have a friend that plays for Colorado State and hopes to take a closer look at the program. Another school that he will need to look into now that they have also added a scholarship to his list is UTEP.
"I've seen them play a couple of times and they're a pretty good program but I don't know too much about them either," he said.
Several other schools are showing the speedy, athletic defensive end some interest including Tulsa and Northwestern. Lively knows what he brings to the table that has college coaches excited.
"I'm a good rusher," he said. "I rush the quarterback pretty good. I make plays all over the field and I don't quit on the play. I always try to get to the ball. I'm a ball hawk."
This summer, Lively hopes to camp at UTEP, Kansas State and Oklahoma State but hopes to attend as many as possible.
"I just want everybody to see what I can do and just to be honest I want to get my name out there," he said. "I think I can open some eyes because a lot of colleges that really don't recruit down here like Florida and Miamia, I feel like I can get them down here."
