Denton (Texas) Ryan defensive end Jarvis Moss was scheduled to make his first official visit this weekend. But his team is still playing, causing a reworking of the visits.
"He was supposed to be headed to Texas this weekend," Moss' grandfather William Moss said. "His team is still going. He has a game this weekend and he can't make that trip."
Several schools continue to call in an effort to lure the 6-foot-7, 220-pounder to play for them.
"He's always getting phone calls," the elder Moss said. "It is a very nice that all of these schools are wanting him to play for them. This will all work out. He'll end up at the place that is best for him when all is said and done."
The schools calling the most according to Moss' grandfather include Texas, Florida, Miami, Florida State and Oklahoma.
"He's got dates set to visit those places. But I don't remember when they are."
