Sweeney High School athlete Thomas Wright is still wide open and looking around on his college options.
Among the teams recruiting him are Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, SMU, Oklahoma, Northwestern, Iowa, New Mexico, Penn State, Baylor, Nebraska and Arkansas.
"Oklahoma State has offered me and they seem to be recruiting me the hardest right now," Wright said, "but I'm still pretty wide open as far as a leader goes."
Distance will not be a factor in his decision.
Wright camped at Texas A&M, LSU and Texas this summer, but has not taken any unofficial visits.
What would be your dream visits to schools that you must see? "Probably Oklahoma State, Northwestern and Iowa," Wright said, "I've talked quite a bit to the coaches from those teams and all three of those teams said that I would have a good shot at playing time as a freshman, especially on special teams."
