Texas defensive back listing a favorite

Tyler, Texas cornerback Tommy Griffin now has a favorite. "I've been hearing from Purdue, Nebraska, Baylor and Arizona this month," Griffin said, "and out of those schools, Purdue and Baylor seem to be recruiting me the hardest. Right now I would say Purdue is my leader." Griffin has received offers from Baylor, Tulane and Southern Methodist.

The 5-foot-10, 195 pound cornerback does not have any official visits lined up yet, nor is he sure about the list of schools, that will make up that list, except one.

"Purdue will definitely get a visit," Griffin said.
