Texas DE suffers injury

Southlake (Texas) Carroll defensive end Harold Williams went down with a knee injury in the Dragons’ second game of the season but hopes to see the field again this season.
Williams has a slight tear of his ACL, which will require surgery, but he thinks that he will be back on the field sooner than later.

“It’s going to require surgery,” Williams said. “I think that I’ll only miss two games though.”
Williams has not received an offer yet, but is expecting four schools to extend one to him in the coming weeks. Princeton Duke, Stanford and Missouri have all mentioned that they would like Williams to come in for a visit and would likely offer the defensive star.
As for what he looks for in a school, Williams said that he looks for good academics with a strong curriculum, a strong athletic program and location of the school.
Williams was named first-team all district last season as well as first-team all academic in his district. He holds a 99 average and scored a 1280 on the SAT.
