Texas DE ready to pick CU
League City (Texas) Clear Creek defensive end Bruce Davis is close to making a commitment to Colorado. But something is holding him back.
That something is a promised official visit to Arkansas.

"I promised Arkansas that I'd visit," Davis said. "Colorado is my top team right now, and I'm thinking about ending the process.
"I'm just tired of this whole thing. It's gotten really crazy with all the coaches calling and wanting to come visit my house. I've narrowed it down to those two basically."
Davis said he would take a mid-week visit to Arkansas on December 17.
"I'm going Thursday, Friday and Saturday," he said. "I'll probably come back and make a decision."
There had been rumors that Davis was ready to pull the trigger for the Buffs and Davis didn't do anything to damper Colorado's spot on his list.
"They're a good solid program and I'd be a good fit there," Davis said. "But I need to check out Arkansas and see how they compare."
Davis visited CU back on November 22.
