Texas DE names a favorite finally
Texas defensive end/linebacker Nick Owino is attracting attention from around the south and midlands.
Schools looking at him most recently include Iowa State, Baylor, Nebraska and LSU.

“I have one offer so far, from Baylor,” Owino said, “and I would put them in a slight lead right now for my favorite team. Distance may have a little impact on my decision, but it won’t be the deciding factor.”
The 6-foot-2, 232 pounder will now begin to set up his visits.
Owino’s Elsik High School (Alief, Texas) team finished a disappointing 5-6 on the season, and Nick was only able to play in five games, as he suffered a series of ankle sprains.
