Texas DE makes choice
Houston (Texas) Madison defensive end Joe Ward has made his choice.
"It wasn't easy for me," Ward said. "I cut it down to UTEP and North Texas when it came time for a decision. I thought long about the plusses of both schools. Then I had to pick one of them."

The 6-foot-4, 275 pound Ward made his choice and is happy with his decision. "I'm going to UTEP. I just think it will work out the best for me on all parts. I'm looking forward to getting there and playing next fall."
Ward also made an official visit to Colorado on Jan. 11.
