Texas DE heading to SEC

Jonathan Barry of Arlington (Texas) Oakridge has played a total of four games of high school football, but he’s going to get a shot at playing in the SEC.
Despite the limited playing time, Arkansas was impressed enough by him to offer him a scholarship and he has committed to the Razorbacks.

“I think they have the biggest steal in the state,'' said Jeff Reitz, who coached Barry last season. “He's just a natural athlete that picked up the game with ease.”
Barry, who is 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds, is a fifth-year senior and is in his first year at Oakridge.
He has always played basketball, but came out for football for the Owls and made an immediate impact. He was moved all over the field on offense and defense and had eight touchdowns in the four games he played.
Arkansas recruited Barry to play defensive end.
