Texas DE has recruiting on hold

Lewisville (Texas) Hebron defensive end Alex Odiari continues to wait on recruiting as his senior season gets under way.
“Alex has been playing well for us this fall so far,” Hebron coach Brian Brazil said. “I think he’s going to make someone very happy when he commits to them and gets there to play for them next year.”

As for the recruiting process, the 6-foot, 225-pounder has placed it on hold to a degree.
“I think he’s just kind of in a waiting mode,” Brazil said. “He’s not rushing anything. He has several schools showing interest in him. TCU is after him a lot. Texas Tech, Iowa State and Arkansas are recruiting him too. I think Alex will probably take his time and see what all of his options are after the season.”
Odiari currently has scholarship offers from Iowa State, Texas Tech, SMU and TCU.
“I’m going to keep Alex up to date with what I hear from coaches and then as we get closer to the end of the season, I’ll try and help him as much as he wants me to to try and get him into the best situation we can.”
