Taurean has increased his bench lift by 15 pounds and his vertical leap by two inches in the past month.
His first game is September 7th.
Taurean has no offers to date.
He's still hearing from Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Florida, Texas - El Paso, Tulane, Pittsburgh, Arizona State, Iowa State, Colorado, Colorado State, Mississippi State, Southern Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky and now Georgia Tech has joined the list.
"UCLA and Florida now top the list of consideration and Georgia Tech, Texas, Notre Dame and LSU are still in serious consideration, but the rest have pretty much been eliminated," Taurean said.
Taurean didn't attend the Lousiana State camp at the end of July, but he did make it to ex-Giant Rodney Hampton's camp on August 3rd.
If he had to make his official visits, they would be to the following (his comments follow):
Florida - "I like their tradition, being a regularly top ranked team and it seems like a fun atmosphere to play in."
LSU - "They are close to home and the program is on the rise."
UCLA - "They have the best combination of academics and football program in the country."
Notre Dame - "Their tradition of great football teams is outstanding and they have a great academic program there."
Florida State - "It's Florida State and the NFL prospects are great, if I go there."
