Texas DE about to become a Jayhawk
Grapevine, Texas, two-star defensive end Darius Warner has been leaning toward Kansas for the past few weeks, and with an upcoming official visit scheduled to Lawrence could it be time for him to pull the trigger?
“I might,” he said. “I just might. I really like Kansas a lot. I’m going up there next weekend. Coach Bowen is recruiting me, and he’s always straight up with me. He’s also a younger guy, so I can relate to him pretty good.”
Warner, who is 6-foot-4 and 270 pound, said he’s also got Louisiana Monroe set up for January 28 and Texas Tech and Texas State are possible other visit destinations. Warner said he has offers form SMU, Kansas and Texas Tech.
