Texas DB still has SEC leader

Sugar Land (Texas) Dulles cornerback Ugo Okpara's recruitment is shifting into full-gear over the next few weeks.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound cover corner will be visiting Arkansas this weekend and Nebraska next week, and a decision could come soon after.

"When it comes down to it my decision will probably be between Arkansas and Nebraska," he said. "I'd like to get to Virginia and Boston College before the start of two-a-days, but I just don't think it's going to happen.
"Arkansas is my No. 1 right now. I really like recruiting coordinator Chris Vaughn and the coaching staff. I like the fact that they play man coverage most of the time and they really develop their cornerbacks. They've put several in the NFL."
Okpara plans on committing by the first week of August, and is ready to enjoy his senior season.
"I don't plan on graduating early," he said. "I just want to go to prom and all that stuff you are supposed to do during you senior year. I'm looking forward to this year."
Last season, Okpara racked up 62 solo tackles, two pass break-ups, and a fumble recovery.
In the classroom, he maintains a 3.4 GPA and has scored more than 1,000 on the SAT, making him a full-qualifier.
