Texas DB is piling up the offers

Matthew Melton, who is from John Tyler High School in Tyler, Texas has 23 tackles and two interceptions up to the recent 35 to 8 victory over Dallas Skyline High School, which made his team four wins and no losses so far.
He is a four star defensive back (6-foot-0, 190 pound) prospect and ranked 13th in the nation by Rivals 100.
He has offers from Texas A&M, Arizona, Purdue, Baylor, Southern Methodist, Texas Christian, Tulane and now Texas.
He has been getting contact from Notre Dame and has eliminated Nebraska, Tennessee, Michigan State, Iowa, Missouri, UCLA and West Virginia from serious contention.
He has no official visits set up yet and said, "I'll make my decision after taking all five visits, which will put the decision date sometime in December or January probably."
He does have an unofficial visit set up to Texas for the Oklahoma game.
He is mainly looking at academics, the coaching staff and the total atmosphere of the school.
Texas replaces Notre Dame as the favorite.

Notre Dame, Texas A&M and Purdue are three of the other schools he will probably visit.
