Texas DB grabs third offer

Things have started fast for South Garland safety Tejay Johnson.
Three offers have already come for the 6-foot, 185-pound defender and it appears that those three make up Johnson's early favorites. It appears Johnson is having no problems with the early recruiting processes.

"Yeah, Georgia Tech and Oklahoma State were the first two but then Kansas State offered me last week," Johnson said. "I didn't expect this especially because K-State is one of my top choices. I talked to the coaching staff there and they really seem cool. Plus, their program is nice too. I plan on going up there soon to their spring game.
"I plan on camping at K-State this summer too."
Georgia Tech and OSU round out his early top three. Mail is coming from other schools such as Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Duke.
Other travel plans are also in the works.
"I want to get out and see Georgia Tech, I just don't know when yet," Johnson said. "It will be sometime during the summer."
Johnson also added that several visits will be taken before he makes a commitment.
"I'm trying to wait," he said. "I just want to check out every place first."
