Texas DB gets first offer

Beaumont Ozen's Ryan Clark has joined teammate Ben Wells on an offer list. While Wells has committed to the University of Texas, Clark could be nearing a commitment to another Big 12 school.
Missouri officially offered Clark this week and the six-foot cornerback could take the Tigers up on their offer by the end of summer.

"I'm leaning to Missouri, but I want to see if Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State and TCU end up offering," Clark said. "I will probably hit all of those summer camps and Missouri wants me to come up as quick as a I can for an unofficial visit."
Clark is open to playing receiver, defensive back and returning kicks on the college level due to his speed and versatility.
"I can really do anything on the football field," he said. "If my high school coach or college coach asks me to go both ways, I'll do it. I'm hungry and determined to make plays."
Still on the board without offers are Ronnie Fontenot, a 5-11, receiver, and London Durham (6-1, 185-pounds) who will play quarterback this season.
